Intern - Intern ‐ Lab & Inspection
(Based at Unichela - Slimline)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in conducting laboratory testing according to customer testing manuals and standard procedures to support the accuracy of laboratory reports.

• Support the validation of supplier information, shade verification result, physical and chemical test reports under the guidance of the laboratory team.

• Maintain and update laboratory documentation, including customer testing manuals, test records and reports to ensure accurate and accessible information.

• Participate in problem-solving activities by collecting data, recording observations and assisting in investigations related to raw material and quality issues.

• Support accreditation and quality assurance activities by assisting with laboratory correlations, training records and certification-related documentation.

• Follow all laboratory safety, compliance and quality requirements while assisting in daily testing and inspection activities to maintain a safe working environment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Textile and Clothing Engineering or a related field.

• Basic understanding of textile testing, quality assurance and laboratory processes.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and willingness to learn laboratory testing and inspection procedures

• Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and professional manner, both verbally and in writing to engage stakeholders and ensure alignment.
