As part of your internship, you will work on evaluating innovative surface coatings for metallic components in vehicle bodies. Possible tasks within this role

  • Plan and carry out experimental investigations such as bending tests, tensile tests, microstructural analyses, and welding tests in our materials laboratories
  • Prepare and analyze samples of metallic materials using modern testing equipment
  • Evaluate and present the test results to internal and external partners
  • Leverage our corporate network and exchange ideas with the brands of Volkswagen AG

Qualification requirements

  • Passion and interest in materials and welding technology
  • Initial experience in practical laboratory work
  • Enjoy exploring future material innovations for sustainable mobility
  • You like working both independently and as part of a team
  • German and English language skills at B2 level
