The Opportunity

May 2027 - August 2027


As an Intern on the Equities’ Portfolio Solutions Team, you will have the unique opportunity toacquirea bird’s eye view of the private equity portfolio within Equities at OTPP by supporting portfolio construction-focused analytics. This will include delivering andmanaging the analysis and reporting at the portfolio leveland providing the Equities team with enhanced decision-making tools and capabilities. You will work closely with a small group of talented professionals who are supportive of your development.

Whatyou'lldo

  • SupportOngoing Portfolio Monitoring:Contribute to coreprocesses for bothEquities andPortfolio Solutionssuch as the semi-annual valuations process which help assess portfolio performance and trends.

  • Support Data & AnalyticsEffortsAssist in managing, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets across reporting platforms to produceactionable insights,buildnewanalyses, and helpmaintaindataaccuracy andquality.

  • Assist with Quarterly Portfolio ReviewsCoordinate data requests with deal teams, compile investment monitoring materials, and support the aggregation of investment and portfolio forecasts for portfolio review meetings.

  • Contribute to Reportingfor Senior LeadershipHelp developrecurring and ad-hocanalysis and reportstrackingperformance metricsfor senior stakeholders, including the Equities Senior Team, Investments Executive Team, OTPP C-suite, and Board of Directors.

  • Collaborate Across Teams:Partnerwith colleagues acrossTeachers’to support Equities,Portfolio Solutions, andbroaderenterprise-wideinitiatives

Whatyou'llneed

  • Currently studying in a relevant undergraduate program, such as business, accounting,financeor related fields

  • Strong academictrack record

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and data management skills with a knack for performing complex, in-depthanalysisand strong attention to detail

  • A working knowledge of fundamental investment and valuation analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal,communicationsand collaboration skills

  • Self-motivated individual with the dedication to perform in a fast-paced environment

  • A high degree of professionalism and integrity

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of productivity tools (e.g.PowerBI) is an asset

  • Must be enrolled in 2nd through 4th year of a relevant undergraduate degree program

  • You must be enrolled in a co-op program orreturning backto your studies after the work term is completed
