The Position

The Systems and Requirements Engineering group - consisting of circa 40 employees - is focused on the technical support and leadership of product definition, predominantly within the development of technically complex systems. The department is based within the Molecular Diagnostics division of the Molecular Systems business. The roles within the group all have a strong technical/scientific focus, such as Business Domain Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Product Definition Team Leaders and Lead Systems Engineers.

The Opportunity

In this internship, you will:

  • Apply Requirements engineering, requirement elicitation and checking for completeness of requirements.
  • Create effective business analyses.
  • Support the engineering team with technical issue identification and closure.
  • Support and organize project workshops.
  • Apply complex problem-solving methodologies to technical issues identified within projects.

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s / Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Engineering, within 12 months before the start of the internship and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore, you…

  • Are interested in developing technically complex systems.
  • Like to solve problems both individually and in teams.
  • Have a high degree of flexibility and proactiveness.
  • Are a strong communicator skilled in stakeholder management, and quick thinker.
  • Proficient in English required, German is an asset.

Additional Information

  • This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, hybrid.
  • The preferred start date for the internship is February 1st, 2027. Please state your preferred start date in your application
  • The duration of the internship is 12 months.
  • Part-time employment is not possible.
  • It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
