Intern in Photonics flow: tests, development of materials

This internship is a great opportunity to become familiar with semiconductor and photonics design and methodologies and to amplify your already acquired skills and experience using specific design tools.

You will also get the chance to see how a worldwide operating company works.

You will investigate the usage of our latest software version for photonics design based on Virtuoso to help the development of this product by testing it. You will also work on collaterals to develop materials for our customers to ease the use of our software (Rapid Adoption Kit, demos, examples).

Working on real industry cases, you will collaborate to define and validate this flow and also use our latest AI development to increase customer productivity.

This project will allow you to work with the Virtuoso Design Platform including adjacent technologies like simulators.

You can also take the opportunity to deploy and improve your coding skills. You will collaborate with a multi-national team at our Cadence site.

Position Requirements:

· Student, final year of engineering school, preferably in photonics/microelectronics engineering.

· Understanding of IC design and photonics knowledge

· Basic knowledge of Virtuoso software

· Good communication skills ; good level in French and English

· Being a team player

· Problem-solving skills.
