Job Description

Wear Referrals (Linnaeus Veterinary Limited, Mars) is a multi-disciplinary, veterinary referral hospital in theNorth East of England, close to the historic university city of Durham, the thriving city of Newcastle and setbetween the north east coast, the Pennine mountains and several National Parks. Specialist services includeneurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, oncology, diagnostic imaging. Clinical research is an essential part of the role, and a keen interest is encouraged and supported. The successful candidate will gain experience in all imaging modalities, with a focus on radiography and ultrasonography initially. The diagnostic imaging intern will be trained in advanced imaging (CT and MRI) image acquisition, and will be part of the OOH rota alongside our existing team of radiographers. The diagnostic imaging intern will also be trained to interpret and write reports across all modalities, with all reporting being under direct supervision by an ECVDI diploma holder.
