We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Administration Intern to join our Outpatient Services team. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in blending patient-care with administration, and healthcare operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn the behind-the-scenes functions that keep outpatient clinical services running efficiently while contributing to meaningful patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily administrative operations within outpatient clinics
- Support scheduling, patient flow coordination, and front office processes
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance tracking initiatives
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance metrics
- Support billing, insurance verification, and documentation audits (as appropriate)
- Contribute to workflow improvement and operational efficiency projects
- Attend leadership meetings to gain exposure to healthcare management strategy
- Interact with community partners to drive referrals and business to the practice
- Provide general administrative support to the outpatient leadership team

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Interest in healthcare operations and administration
