Interns are vital to our success!

We are seeking Interns to join our team at the Counseling Clinic - Green Bay. This unpaid internship is based out of our Green Bay location for students pursuing their Master's degree in in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other closely related mental health discipline As an intern, you will observe and eventually facilitating therapy sessions with therapists and providing in-depth professional evaluations and assessments of children, youth, adults, and families; assist with clinical duties such as filing paperwork, inputting ACORN data, writing progress notes, help develop treatment plans with SMART goals; other clinic duties may including researching community resources for clients and/or other therapists, and participate in trainings for professional and personal growth.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Pursuing a Master's degree in a Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other closely related mental health discipline.
  • Preferred: N/A

  • Required: None
  • Preferred: None

Skills and Competencies:

  • Commitment to the ethical treatment of clients.
  • Knowledge of family dynamics, abuse, neglect, criminality, and social dysfunction.
  • Respect for families of diverse socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, and ability to engage them in dialogue regarding personal issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships within and outside the agency in a professional manner.
  • Ability to express and transmit ideas and knowledge clearly with reasonable organization and conciseness.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
