Job Description:

Duration/Hours:

June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027

Pay rate is $30/hour for graduate students (Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later required)

Full-time; 37.5 hours per week

Based in Washington, DC, with an expectation to work onsite at least two days per week.

ABA’s Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Draft fraud related policy materials and articles.
  • Assist in program committees and working groups for notes and scheduling.
  • Assist in the development of operational tools.
  • Analyze data on fraud risks and performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Strong writing background, specifically for memorandum directed to a professional audience.
  • Organizational skills for meeting agendas, notes and invitations.
  • Understanding of common policy and procedural requirements.
  • Familiarity with the use and development of Excel documents.
  • Ability to work both in an individual and team environment.

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program with anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Preferred fields of study: Finance, Policy, Criminal Justice or Business.

Salary Band Range:

$15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
