1. Support Development of Digital Applications
Assist the team in supporting digital solutions developed using Microsoft 365 platform.
Scope includes:
- Assist in development and testing of applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Assist in development of simple workflow automation using Microsoft Power Automate
- Support updating of operational dashboards in Power BI
- Assist in updating internal information pages using SharePoint / Microsoft Pages
2. Operational Data Management & Dashboard Support
Support data collection and preparation for operational monitoring dashboards.
Scope includes:
- Assist in data compilation for operations and maintenance activities
- Support data cleaning and preparation
- Assist in updating operational monitoring dashboards
- Support analysis of operational task completion and reporting.
3. Pipeline Surveillance Support
Support pipeline monitoring activities and documentation.
Scope includes:
- Assist in compiling pipeline surveillance reports
- Support documentation of pipeline Right-of-Way observations
- Assist in managing inspection findings data
- Support digital recording of pipeline monitoring activities.
4. Support Development of Public Reporting Interface
Assist the team in improving the digital interface for public complaints related to pipeline Right-of-Way.
Scope includes:
- Assist in updating complaint records
- Support monitoring of complaint status
- Assist in organizing data for complaint tracking.
5. Exposure to Pipeline Operations
The intern will gain exposure to the fundamentals of gas pipeline operations.
Learning areas include:
- Pipeline Right-of-Way monitoring
- Basic pipeline infrastructure components
- Safety considerations in pipeline operations
- Introduction to pipeline integrity management.
6. Exposure to Gas Measurement Systems
The intern will be introduced to measurement and instrumentation systems used in gas pipeline operations.
Exposure includes:
- Overview of custody transfer and non-custody transfer systems
- Introduction to metering instrumentation
- Basic understanding of measurement data monitoring.
7. Operational Support
Provide general support to the operations team in administrative and operational tasks.
Scope includes:
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation
- Support data organization for operational activities
- Assist engineers in operational data analysis.
