As an intern in the Operation Safety GHSSE team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety awareness and practices within PETRONAS. Your primary responsibilities will involve creating engaging short videos to educate and inform, analyzing data using Excel, and developing visualizations in PowerBI to present key insights. • Develop creative and educational short videos to promote safety awareness and best practices.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel to identify trends and patterns related to safety incidents.
• Utilize PowerBI to create visually appealing dashboards and reports, presenting safety data insights.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety training programs and materials.
• Collaborate with the GHSSE team to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Support the team in conducting safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Research and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in safety operations.
• Assist in the preparation of safety-related presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment with safety goals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety initiatives and projects.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Safety Engineering, Health & Safety Management, Multimedia, or related disciplines).
• Proficiency in video editing software and a creative mindset for developing engaging content.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data handling and reporting.
