The Environmental Management Section in the HSE department at MLNG Sdn Bhd, Bintulu, is seeking a dynamic and energetic intern with a strong interest in the field of Environmental Management, particularly in areas of environmental compliance, sustainability, and social performance. You will collaborate closely with our team to manage environmental tracking and reporting systems, work with various databases requiring data entry, gather process data, and analyse it for report submission to regulatory agencies. Additionally, you will be involved in ensuring environmental compliance.
Intern Responsibilities
Assist in data compilation for environment monitoring and performance data.
Perform environmental tracking and reporting, including trend analysis to ensure full compliance with legal requirements.
Assist in maintaining environment master database and data visualisation (e.g. Power BI).
Assist in carrying out environmental assurance activities (e.g. First Line Assurance, ISO14001 internal/external audits, routine walkabouts, site visit, etc) including compiling and tracking the observations/findings from the activities.
Assist in preparing communication materials for environment awareness programmes.
Intern Requirements:
Eager to learn and collaborate with various departments within the company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure effectively.
