NXP is a global semiconductor company creating solutions that enable secure connections for a smarter world.

One focused market is audio and radio system solution on System-On-Chip. In order to validate the software-based radio processing on automotive quality level, we are using a proprietary Java based test framework.

Your Mission:

• Review of the test case specification
• Use and extend the existing Java based test framework
• Extend test bench framework to control new signal generators
• Implement additional test cases to improve the overall test coverage of the system
• Execute the test plan, evaluate the results and report deviations to the team
• Validate new product modifications
• Contribute to product documentation

Your Profile:

Must Have

• Profound Programming skills in Java (>3 years)
• Good Knowledge of Git as SCM system
• Knowledge of pull request workflow using Bitbucket
• Knowledge of Jira issue management
• Able to read/understand a mobile communication standard (e.g. DAB, HD Radio)
• Understanding of test framework (trace tools, test/measurement equipment, test specification/requirements/methodology)
• Problem solving skills
• Fluent in English
• Team player

Nice To Have

• Fluent in German
• Knowledge of another scripting language (e.g. Python)
• Knowledge of radio domain (AM/FM/DAB/HD Radio)
• Experience with Maven
• Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE
• Experience with NoSQL (Couchbase database)
