This program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. Interns will develop essential skills in leadership, professional communication, and presentation, all while building a strong professional network.Finance Internship As a Finance Intern at JEA, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of how these functions support and drive business operations. Interns will engage in meaningful projects exposing them to, reviewing financial statements, and learning what is required to ensure accuracy of monthly reporting. There will be exposure to financial analysis, budget development, and forecasting activities that support enterprise level decisions. This hands-on experience will help bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in a dynamic, real-world environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility RequirementsTo be considered for the internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:Be a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior enrolled in a Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business bachelor’s degree program A minimum GPA of 3.0 - A copy of your most recent transcript must be submitted with your application.Be available to work 13 weeks 32 hours per week during the internship period. The starting salary for professional positions will be determined based on education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization. The starting hourly rate for positions with a pay step plan will be Step 1 of the corresponding union contract.
