The Marriott Development Planning and Feasibility (“ Feasibility”) and Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning (“ FASP”) department in Asia Pacific Excluding China (“ APEC”) is responsible for hotel underwriting, valuation, brand strategy, and business intelligence to support hotel development, conversion, and renovation/repositioning opportunities for all Marriott lodging products in APEC. The team also provides analytical support and advisory that enables the APEC leadership to make business and strategic decisions that drive overall business results and create the most shareholder value. These economic, market, business and project evaluations are instrumental to achieving Marriott’s expansion goals in new markets and important to the overall, long-range growth strategy of the Company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern of the APEC Feasibility & FASP team, the Intern will assist the team with hotel facilities, brand standards and financial support and assistance to the Feasibility & FASP team with projects and strategic plans. She/he will provide analytical, data gathering and any other required tasks to support to the Manager, Feasibility and Manager, FASP.
