Join us to accelerate this vision and your professional development.We are looking to bring on an Intern, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist to assist office engineers and project managers with day-to-day project tasks. This is a full-time role that will be about 3 months beginning Spring 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some hands-on, working field experience and be a valuable contributor to our project teams. This role will be based out of our Princeton, NJ or Holicong, PA office location.
In this position, you will:Serve in a field support role, working on interesting and technically challenging construction projects. Field activities may include construction observation, sampling of soil or groundwater, in-situ density testing, and observation of earthwork and foundation construction activities.Express a willingness to visit construction sites to assist in the field with our construction monitoring service group.Assist engineers and Project Managers with the planning and execution of site characterization, subsurface investigation, and construction of various infrastructure and real estate development projects.Assist with evaluation of subsurface geotechnical and environmental data. Assist in performing geotechnical design/analysis and developing geotechnical recommendations.Asist the laboratory manager in running geotechnical testing on soil samples.Complete a presentation at the end of the internship period. Minimum Skills and Requirements:Candidate should be at least 2 years into their academic career.Candidate should be enrolled in a an environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or geoscience educational program (undergraduate or graduate).Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn.Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Computer Skills – Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in all MS Office software.Valid driver’s license highly preferred.Ability to work for 3 consecutive months on a full-time basis.The salary range for this position in Princeton, NJ or Holicong, PA is $22.00 - $25.00 hourly. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions.
