
The Aquarion Water Authority (AWA) is a locally governed, not-for-profit water authority providing water service to more than 735,000 people in 60 municipalities across Connecticut. This intern position is in Aquarion's Watershed and Environmental Management Department and reports out of the Aspetuck Environmental Center at 714 Black Rock Road, Easton, Connecticut. The role is for the remainder of the 2026 calendar year and availability through the fall semester is strongly preferred. The Environmental Compliance Intern can work up to 29 hours each week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday). The flexible schedule is well suited to (upperclassmen) undergraduate or graduate students.
