The internship position is based in the SI EA (Electrification & Automation) Department in Almaty, Kazakhstan, supporting projects and solutions within the electrification and energy infrastructure portfolio.

Candidate Requirements

  • Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Solid foundation in core engineering principles and technical disciplines
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with technical calculations, data analysis, and technical documentation
  • High motivation to learn and develop professionally in a dynamic engineering environment
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a responsible approach to work
  • English proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation and literature

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured internship program under the guidance of experienced Siemens professionals
  • Support the preparation of technical calculations and engineering solutions
  • Work with technical documentation, specifications, and engineering data
  • Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects within the SI EA Department
  • Gradually take ownership of individual engineering tasks and project deliverables
  • Develop technical and professional competencies through hands-on involvement in real Siemens projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project implementation and customer requirements
