Job Description

Power your future with Qualus in our Engineering department as an Engineering Intern! At Qualus, our Engineering Interns gain hands-on experience by supporting our engineering teams on real-world projects. Interns assist in preparing electrical design packages, developing drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and learning the quality control (QC) process alongside senior engineers. They also provide project documentation support and contribute to general office tasks, all while building valuable technical and professional skills.

This internship is designed to give students the opportunity to apply their coursework in a professional setting, explore career paths in engineering, and learn directly from experienced mentors.

Full-time or part-time flexibility available; all interns must be in-office at a Qualus office location.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Learn and assist with quality checks (QC) on electrical drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support project documentation and general office tasks.
• Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards in project work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and gain exposure to a variety of project phases.
• Provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• Full time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing BS/BE degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Prior technical or engineering experience is a plus but not required.
