About the job:
Fine-tune and adapt large language models (LLMs) to reason about engineering trade-offs in RF system architecture and design (e.g., digital/hybrid beamforming, RF transceiver line-up, etc.)
Create and manage structured datasets for training, combining synthetic data and expert knowledge
Implement and run model training, focusing on the model's ability to generate logical, step-by-step reasoning and valid architectural recommendations
Help build the interactive interface for human-in-the-loop prompting and refinement
About the ideal candidate:
PhD candidate in Computer Science, ECE, or related field
Hands-on experience training and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., Llama, GPT)
Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow
Familiarity with the Hugging Face ecosystem and parameter-efficient fine-tuning (e.g., LoRA)
