The intern will be administrator for function to support in the implementation/execution of organisation objectives and will support employer branding, internal communications and employee engagement initiatives through event coordination, content management for internal and social platforms (i.e. Linkedin, 1-Pru), and involvement in sponsorships and awards submission. They will gain hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, creative content development, and internal communications, contributing to impactful messaging and continuous improvement in employee and talent outreach.

Key Accountabilities

1. Employer Branding, Employee Engagement & Event Management

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement initiatives, employer branding campaigns, townhalls, wellness programmes, recognition events, and other corporate activities.
  • Assist in managing event logistics, registrations, stakeholder coordination, vendor engagements, venue arrangements, and event-day operations to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, track deliverables, and support timely execution of initiatives.
  • Contribute to post-event activities, including participant feedback collection, reporting, lessons learned documentation, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

2. Internal Communications & Content Development

  • Develop and curate engaging content for internal communication channels, including 1-Pru, digital screens, HR newsletters, email communications, and corporate communication platforms.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, proofreading, and publishing communication materials that promote company culture, employee programmes, organisational updates, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the development of communication plans, campaign messages, storytelling content, employee spotlights, and leadership communications.
  • Ensure content is aligned with the organisation’s brand voice, communication standards, and employee engagement objectives.

3. Social Media & Digital Employer Branding

  • Support the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of content for external employer branding platforms, including LinkedIn and other approved digital channels.
  • Assist in sourcing employee stories, testimonials, and success narratives to showcase the organisation’s culture, values, and employee experience.
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify content opportunities that strengthen the company’s employer value proposition (EVP).
  • Monitor content performance and support the preparation of engagement metrics and insights to enhance future campaigns.

4. Talent Attraction & University Engagement

  • Assist in employer branding initiatives aimed at attracting future talent, including career fairs, university outreach programmes, sponsorship opportunities, and graduate recruitment campaigns.
  • Support the coordination of campus engagements, networking events, partnerships with educational institutions, and internship-related activities.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, employer branding best practices, and talent market insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to award submissions, employer recognition programmes, and external branding opportunities that enhance organisational visibility.

5. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Corporate Communications, Procurement, Facilities, IT, and Business Units to support the successful delivery of projects and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, event organisers, designers, and service providers to ensure agreed deliverables are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide timely updates on project progress, milestones, and outcomes.

6. Data Analysis, Administration & Reporting

  • Support the collection, consolidation, and analysis of employee engagement, event participation, communication effectiveness, and employer branding metrics.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, dashboards, and management updates for leadership review.
  • Manage administrative requirements including procurement documentation, vendor invoices, budget tracking, payment records, and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, campaigns, event outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and operational activities for governance and reporting purposes.

7. Continuous Improvement & Special Projects

  • Support ad hoc HR Communications and Employer Branding projects as assigned by the Line Manager.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and recommendations to enhance employee engagement, communication effectiveness, and employer branding efforts.
  • Stay informed of emerging communication trends, digital engagement tools, and employer branding best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
