Job Description

During your internship, you will contribute to:

  • Review, Process and Monitor Disability Claims
  • Process and manage employee files
  • Communicate with Insurance Provider
  • Participate in claim review meetings with the HR Director, HR Manager, and Medical Consultant
  • Coordinate with HR on complex claims
  • Facilitate employee accommodations and return to work
  • Prepare Letters on behalf of HR
  • Participate in WSIB Claims
  • Prepare offer letters of accommodations
  • Participate in HR Projects

During your internship, you will learn:

  • Application/software of Workforce
  • Develop skills such as Teamwork, Problem Solving, and Time Management
  • Participate in weekly meetings and return to work meetings
