The Digital & Technology (Data & AI) department provides the end-to-end big data and analytics solutions and services for Business Units and Corporate Functions in CapitaLand. You will be part of the team to use data and generate insights to solve business questions. You will work closely with business users to understand their business needs and use data from both internal and external sources to address business questions. Business users will take on the transformed data and derive insights for decision making.
Responsibilities
Assist in building, testing, and supporting of data pipelines on CapitaLand’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
Support data processing tasks for various business use cases across the organization
Assist in preparing and organizing datasets to support internal and business stakeholders
Help with documentation, data quality checks, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Strong understanding of Python or Java, with hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts through academic or internshipsprojects
Willingness to learn and explore new tools and technologies related to data engineering and analytics infrastructure
Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
Familiar with SQL (e.g. Spark SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) will be an advantage
Exposure to cloud-based data engineering platforms and big data tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark, or Hive (a plus, but not required)
