About this role

We are excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Digital Alliance team. Our internship program offers a dynamic environment where interns can gain practical, challenging, and valuable on-the-job experience. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to our business partnership strategy and assist Carrier in achieving its goals.

As a Digital Alliance Intern, you will play a crucial role in managing budgets related to our AWS alliance partnership, researching emerging building technologies, and applying Agile project management methodologies to optimize our partner onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the budget for our AWS partnership.
  • Provide weekly updates to the team regarding budget status.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to submit MDF (Market Development Funds) and Sandbox credits in the APN (Amazon Partner Network) portal.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on emerging building technologies and industry trends.
  • Evaluate the potential benefits of integrating these technologies into our digital products and services.
  • Serve as a project manager to streamline and enhance our partner onboarding process.
  • Maintain a well-prioritized backlog of tasks to ensure sprint goals are consistently met.
  • Identify, implement, and document process improvements to elevate the overall partner experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with hyperscale infrastructure and cloud computing is a plus.
