PwC Malaysia’s Deals practice is looking for a driven and analytical Deals Valuations Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to valuation and transaction-related assignments, providing interns with a strong foundation in corporate finance and valuation methodologies.

As part of the Deals team, you will work closely with experienced professionals on real client engagements across a variety of industries, supporting valuation analyses for purposes such as mergers & acquisitions, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing business and asset valuations for transaction, financial reporting, and strategic purposes.

  • Support financial analysis and valuation modelling, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable companies, and precedent transactions.

  • Conduct market, industry, and company research to support valuation assessments.

  • Assist in preparing valuation reports, working papers, and client presentations.

  • Participate in team discussions and engagement meetings.

  • Provide support on ad-hoc analyses and tasks as required by the engagement team​.

  • Exposure to valuation, financial modelling, or transaction-related coursework or internships will be an added advantage.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Minimum internship commitment of 10 to 12 weeks, with tentative onboarding in mid-June or early July.
