Job Description

The Contract Management Implementation Intern will support the introduction, implementation, and optimization of the company’s contract management systems and processes. This role requires a highly organized and structured individual with understanding of business operations and the ability to work with critical and confidential documents. The position will also involve regular communication and collaboration with other Liebherr entities, particularly in Europe.

The intern will play an active role in implementing a contract management software solution, partnering with the IT department, and supporting end users through training and process adoption. This internship provides hands-on experience in contract administration, system implementation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in business operations, contract management, project management, or systems implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and rollout of a contract management software system.
  • Assist with project coordination, including planning, testing, and execution.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to align system and business requirements.
  • Review, organize, and maintain contract files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support contract data migration, tracking key terms, dates, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools, workflows, and basic reporting.
  • Assist in creating user guides and training employees on system usage.
  • Identify gaps in documentation and follow up to ensure completeness.
  • Support system testing and troubleshoot issues during implementation.
  • Perform additional project-related and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Regular communication is needed with other Liebherr entities abroad ( in Europe).

Competencies

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business operations and processes.
  • Ability to handle confidential and critical information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Comfortable working in a structured environment and driving process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams (e.g., IT) and non-technical stakeholders.
