WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Construction Safety Intern in our Chicago, Illinois location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2027 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $21.30 with paid company holidays.

The Illinois Safety and Health Team provides support to Operations to ensure the safety of all employees at PGL and NSG. Services provided include training, industrial hygiene monitoring, site safety observations, safety meeting facilitation, injury and illness data analysis, development of safety communications, and technical support on all safety and health topics. The Safety and Health Team assists in providing a safe workplace for all employees.

Pay Range Minimum $21.30
Pay Range Maximum $24.60
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
