Job Description

As a Communications Intern, you will play a key role in supporting your team across various communication and PR tasks. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, allowing you to develop your skills and gain exposure to multiple workstreams. You will work closely with team members and management to contribute to meaningful projects while learning the fundamentals of strategic communications, advisory, media, and public relations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team with original research, analysis, and the delivery of strategic advisory work.
  • Assist in drafting content, including press releases, social media posts, client communications, and other written materials.
  • Support with preparing client reports, media coverage reports, and weekly and monthly updates for internal and client use.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including email correspondence, maintaining client reports, and preparing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members on communication initiatives, brainstorming sessions, and campaign planning.
  • Participate in client meetings, both in person and online, including attending client offices in Riyadh as required.
  • Rotate across key workstreams, including content and editorial, media engagement, digital, PMO, and strategic advisory, to gain broad exposure to the communications field.
  • Develop writing, research, presentation, organization, and task-management skills through hands-on assignments and feedback.
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and reports as requested by Director, Direct Manager, or direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, public relations, international relations, mass communication, or an equivalent field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, service-oriented, creative, flexible, resilient, and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong initiative, teamwork, and information-seeking skills.
