Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Conduct archival and photo research to support editorial projects and features
  • Scan and organize photo archives to maintain and enhance visual assets
  • Assist with photo, video, and social media shoots as needed
  • Provide fact-checking support to ensure editorial accuracy and integrity
  • Support testing teams with vehicle preparation and logistics
  • Rotate across News and Buyer’s Guide teams to contribute to editorial workflows
  • Assist with copy editing and have opportunities to write news content


Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Interest in journalism, publishing, or digital media
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and/or vehicle engineering
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with student media (e.g., school newspaper) is a plus
  • Passion for cars and automotive culture is a plus
  • Ability to work in-office 4 days per week in Ann Arbor, MI


The hourly rate for this role is $20 per hour. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime.
