Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Capacity Planning team. The intern will assist with planning activities, reporting, documentation, data analysis, and coordination tasks to help improve operational visibility and efficiency.

Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

What you'll do

  • Support the Capacity Planning team in data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining workforce, workstation, and production loading reports.
  • Help prepare weekly and monthly capacity planning presentations and dashboards.
  • Coordinate and track production, transportation, and footprint planning data from different stakeholders.
  • Support schedule analysis and identify potential bottlenecks, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Assist in reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, and AutoCAD files for planning purposes.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain planning-related documentation, procedures, and meeting records.
  • Manage and update SharePoint folders, files, trackers, and team documentation to ensure information is current and accessible.
  • Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams and document action items and follow-ups.
  • Help maintain planning databases, trackers, and documentation for ongoing projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Assist with data validation and ensure accuracy of planning assumptions and inputs.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects assigned by the Capacity Planning team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather operational requirements and planning updates.

What you'll bring

  • Enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd year degree or diploma program in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, AutoCAD, or planning tools is considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Interest in capacity planning, operations, and process improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $28.00/hour.

Start Date of Internship: Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
End Date of Internship: Friday, April 30th, 2027 (8-Months).
