Your role and the team
As a Business Controller Internship, you have a important role in the profitability and financial analysis for the business operations of the company. The Business Controller Internship is mainly working on the monthly reporting and analysis of internal and HQ requested information. Besides all that, you work close with the accounting department to ensure solid month-end processes. The Business Controller Internship will report directly to the Head of Controlling Leasing. You are
A determined and agile person with Economic studies background and with ambition and determination to learn and to grow professionally. A result-oriented and accurate professional with good organizational and planning skills who is capable of working independently as well as in (project) teams. Previous experience as a controller is not required but is a a nice-to have.

Santander Consumer Finance. We have been active in the consumer finance market in the Netherlands since 1985 (car financing, personal loans and stock financing). In the Netherlands, we serve our customers from our office in Utrecht, and since 1992 also in Belgium from our office in Merelbeke (near Ghent). The leasing company Santander Leasing is also part of Santander (in the Netherlands with offices in Den Bosch, and in Belgium from Merelbeke). Our Benelux team consists of approximately 350 colleagues. Together, we are part of the Santander Group, one of the largest financial institutions in the world.

In addition to a salary in line with market rates, we offer a fixed 13th month and holiday allowance.
