About the Role

As part of our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining high-performance backend applications, working alongside experienced engineers to ensure software stability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Learn cutting-edge Nokia products and technologies from the Autonomous Networks portfolio
• Participate in technical support (Software Care) analysis and root-cause investigations
• Perform software testing, validation, and documentation of test results
• Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance system stability and tune solutions performance
• Participate in cloud deployments of Nokia provisioning and orchestrations solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and OS performance issues

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related IT field or a related field (students seeking for 6-months internship are encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with Linux/ Unix
• Knowledge of any relational (Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB) or non-relational (MongoDB, Kafka, Neo4j) databases
• Understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audience

It would be nice if you also have:

• Knowledge of Linux shell-scripting or Python programming
  Programming fundamentals
• Familiarity with Java software architecture and debugging Java applications
• Understanding of SOAP protocol
• Basic knowledge of cloud-native or virtualized deployments
• Practice with OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and passionate for software performance tuning
