1. Job Purpose

We are looking for an AI Specialist with data analytical skills to join our growing team. The role will be responsible for creating solutions aligned with the business's mission and strategy. Through the use of advanced AI tools and statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualisation techniques, the successful candidate will develop solutions that enhance business performance.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Construct statistical AI based tools for financial data analysis
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build, test, and maintain applications that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Deliver complex projects and generate actionable insights for the business.
• Ensure alignment with data strategy and deliver business use cases.
• Develop and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
• Develop state-of-the-art analytics and dashboards for risk management and monitoring.
• Develop reports documenting technical specifications, processes, and data management.

1. Education & Experience

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on advanced data analytics and machine learning projects.
• Strong skills in coding with R and/or Python and AI applications.
• Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms (e.g., GLM, GBM, Random Forest) and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, R Shiny, Tableau).
• Sound knowledge of Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop) and cloud and streaming technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively while supporting the data and analytics needs of multiple teams.
• Proactive with the willingness to take ownership.
