About the Role

As an Intern, Data Science, you will support DKSH's ITA team in driving data-driven initiatives that enhance decision-making, automation, and analytical capabilities across multiple business units. This internship provides a meaningful opportunity to contribute to real-world data science projects while growing your technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

What You Will Deliver

Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation across various internal and external sources to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis and modelling
Support model development, validation, and performance monitoring using statistical and machine learning techniques
Build visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate data insights clearly to business stakeholders
Explore new data sources and contribute to use case ideation and feasibility assessments alongside team members
Coordinate with business and Information Technology (IT) stakeholders to support ongoing analytics and data science initiatives
Document work clearly to ensure reproducibility and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

What You Bring

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Familiarity with Python and data science libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and matplotlib
Familiarity with PySpark; experience with Databricks is a plus
Basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) for data querying and manipulation
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Good written and spoken communication skills in English
