We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our team and assist in Welding. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for active student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:
Assist experienced welders with welding and fabrication tasks
Learn and perform basic welding operations, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding
Help with the inspection and quality control of welds to ensure they meet industry standards
Support the maintenance of welding equipment and tools
Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Document welding activities and assist in preparing reports
Work with the engineering team to understand project requirements and specifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Active college student in D3/D4/S1. (Active college student in D3/D4/S1, majoring in Metallurgy, Mechanical E ngineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or any related major)
Internship placement is available at McDermott Batam
Applicants should not be participating in another internship program
Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions
