Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project AMS_ANS_BBVAColombia. The client is BBVA, a company that provides financial services and solutions globally, focusing on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your day-to-day activities will include performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategies, developing automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration. You will also participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. You are expected to build knowledge and support the team while participating in problem-solving discussions. Intermediate proficiency in Test Execution and Management is required. Intermediate proficiency in Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation is recommended. Additionally, intermediate proficiency in System Defect Management and System Integration Testing is suggested.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of application features.
Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering to continuously enhance testing processes.
