Position Title: EDF Intern – NH₃ Refrigeration KPI System
Department/Function: Engineering / Energy & Digitalization / EDF
Location: Shanghai / Site-based
Internship Focus: Process data analytics, KPI system development, modeling, and energy optimization for NH₃ refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of an NH₃ Refrigeration KPI System, including KPI definition, data structure design, dashboard logic, and performance tracking methodology.
• Collect, clean, and analyze process data from refrigeration systems to identify energy consumption patterns, operating deviations, and optimization opportunities.
• Build basic analytical or simulation models to evaluate refrigeration system performance and support energy efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Work with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to validate data quality, understand process constraints, and translate operational needs into measurable KPIs.
• Prepare analysis reports and visualization materials to support decision-making on energy optimization, cost reduction, and sustainable operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Data Science, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration systems, process engineering, or energy management is preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Python, Power BI, PI System, SQL, or other data analysis/visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and good communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Good command of English; Chinese communication capability is preferred for site collaboration.

2. ICE Digitalization Internship – Digital Module Support

Position Title: ICE Digitalization Intern
Department/Function: ICE / Digitalization / Engineering Support
Location: Shanghai / Site-based
Internship Focus: Digital module support, demand clarification, specification data management, and data table establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ICE digitalization module implementation by collecting, organizing, and maintaining demand sheets, user requirements, and functional specifications.
• Assist in sorting and standardizing specification data, engineering master data, and related technical information to ensure data completeness and consistency.
• Build and maintain structured data tables, templates, and tracking files to support digital workflows, reporting, and system configuration.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, document feedback, and follow up on issue lists or change requests.
• Support testing, documentation, and user acceptance preparation for digital tools or modules, including test case tracking and basic user guidance materials.
