Job Description

Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm with locations across the world in 15 countries, currently has an exciting temporary employment opportunity for a Summer Intern in our Philadelphia office.

Join our Team as a Summer Intern in our Philadelphia office.

This role will be based in our Philadelphia office, on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building.



The Summer Intern will assist legal and administrative personnel with a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares and drafts routine correspondence/memorandum and emails

  • Maintains and updates physical and electronic files

  • Performs basic document review and light research

  • Schedules calendars and confirms appointments

  • Reserves conference rooms and prepares materials for conferences

  • Performs additional duties as required, including but not limited to, assisting with other departments and GT offices

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation

  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively

  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, as well as take a proactive approach in being team-oriented

Technology

  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly

  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directed.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation.
