JN Group invites applications for an Internship opportunity within the Life Insurance Operations and Data Protection Department. This role provides hands-on experience in data quality management, system readiness, and compliance within a regulated environment.

The selected intern will support critical data improvement initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Life Insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Data Audit and Assessment

• 
  Assist in identifying inconsistencies, duplications, and missing fields within the Life Insurance database
• 
  Support reconciliation of legacy and current system data
• 
  Maintain audit logs and track issues through to resolution

Data Cleansing and Standardization

• 
  Correct inaccuracies in client, policy, and claims records
• 
  Remove or flag duplicate records and ensure proper record linkage
• 
  Standardize data formats in line with JN Life data governance protocols

System Preparation and Migration Support

• 
  Prepare data to support system updates or migration activities
• 
  Assist with validation and verification before and after system updates
• 
  Track assigned tasks and escalate critical data anomalies promptly

Documentation and Reporting

• 
  Maintain structured daily and weekly logs of activities, progress, and outstanding items
• 
  Document recurring data issues and recommend process improvements
• 
  Support preparation of status updates and a final report on data quality, completeness, and recommendations

Data Protection and Compliance

• 
  Adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling client and company data
• 
  Escalate potential data risks promptly to supervisory staff
• 
  Ensure all work aligns with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 
  First Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or a related field)
• 
  Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data tools
• 
  Basic knowledge of or exposure to project management principles; able to plan, track, and support task execution
• 
  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• 
  High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
