Position: Full-time Intern - 3D/Motion Designer in UX/UI Advanced Design
Duration: 6 months or longer
Location: Munich, Germany
Starting date: As soon as possible
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our innovative and dynamic team at AVATR Design Center Munich. If you’re passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to a new, disruptive, and high-end brand, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating 3D animations and motion graphics for digital interfaces
• Support development of light-based and 3D motion elements
• Help translate UX or concept ideas into visual motion stories
• Collaborate with designers and engineers on projects under guidance
• Learn and apply principles of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling in 3D animation

Requirements:

• Currently studying Motion Design, 3D Animation, Visualization, Game Design, UI/UX, or related fields
• Motion design portfolio showcasing 2D and/or 3D animation skills
• Experience with 2D motion design and video, including Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Basic proficiency in 3D tools such as Houdini, Blender, or Cinema 4D
• Basic skills in Unreal Engine 5, with a focus on visualization and motion design
• UI / UX motion awareness, with an understanding of how motion impacts usability, affordance, and user psychology
• Growth mindset, with a strong willingness to learn, take constructive feedback, and explore emerging tools
  (e.g., Rive, AI-driven design, procedural modeling, and animation)
• Team player with communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of procedural modeling, animation, and VFX (Houdini / Blender)
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 Niagara and interactive setups
• Basic knowledge of Nuke
• Experience with Rive or advanced Lottie workflows
