Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our tax department. The intern will assist with tax preparation, research, data analysis, and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in corporate tax and tax accounting functions.

• Assist with preparation of federal, provincial/state, and local tax filings
• Organize and review financial records and tax documentation
• Support tax staff with data entry and reconciliation tasks
• Conduct basic tax research using internal and external resources
• Help prepare working papers and audit support schedules
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Prior internship, accounting coursework, or tax exposure is a plus, but not required
