Position Purpose and Summary
As a Temporary Global Buyer for our Supply Chain, you will act as an extension of the Global Supply Planning department. This position will assist in executing the daily tasks of the Planning teams, including Purchase Order Issuance, Maintenance, and reporting. While portions of this role will be data intensive in nature, you will also support business analysis, problem solving, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:
PO Management, execute and manage global POs from creation to ex-factory, including supporting the direct ship alignment process for all regions, extractions between regions to satisfy customer demand, execution of sourcing factory reallocation and cost changes. Post Buy Management, ensure on-time and in-full delivery to customer demand by monitoring and minimizing production delays, shortages, and demand misalignment through regular reporting, communication with LO partners to prioritize production, expediting product, execution of regional air shipment requests, requesting remakes, and aligning available inventory to meet customer specific VAS needs. Communicate impacts to customer deliveries to regional partners with special focus on key accounts and initiatives. Executing and manage vendor CRF (change request form): these are documents submitted by the LO requiring price entry changes in our ERP systems. Seconds/Excess PO creation: this involves manually issuing POs in our ERP system for Seconds and Excess styles. Open Past Due: monitoring open past due units in both SAP and JDE (this refers to units that are unshipped with ship dates in the past). This involves running reports and working with LOs to clean up inaccurate data in the system and correctly determining whether units need to be short-closed, shipped…etc. Ad hoc PO creation. Running regular reports and audits- sending reporting to stakeholders on a standard cadence. Perform all tasks related to production to ensure on time, in full delivery to our customers throughout our global markets...
Requirements:
Willingness to learn, proactive and appropriate attitude, and good communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft offices: Excel/Word/Power BI… English communication is required. Able to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group. Proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners. Available time be with team from 3- 6 months.
To be trained:
Knowledgeable of principles, concepts, and theories within Supply Chain. Skilled in process improvement. Equipped with a well-developed ability to speak, read and write English, including writing clear and concise business communication. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
