Team Overview and Job responsibilities:
We are looking for an Environmental Management Intern to join our team.
Based in Vila Velha, Brazil, you will be responsible to carry out activities related to environmental management, to support the control of legal requirements, to support the management and monitoring of the environmental impacts generated by the unit and to promote awareness actions with employees and the areas of direct impacts of the unit, in accordance with established guidelines and strategies and in accordance with current legislation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Support in the execution of environmental monitoring;
• Monitor compliance with HSE legal requirements;
• Monitoring and support to HSE audits;
• Support and monitoring of socio-environmental demands with the community;
• Support in the execution of environmental inspections in the operational area;
• Support operational demands with audits and Environmental Dialogues;
• Support and monitoring of the environmental management system;
• Assist the HSE sector in the preparation and execution of internal training (Week of environment, integration, HSE recycling, PEAT and SIPAT);
• Support in the execution of internal simulations;
• Support for compliance with internal HSE procedures.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and motivations
• Undergraduate degree in environmental engineering or biology in progress
• Intermediate English desirable
• Mastery of the Office Package
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ease of communication
• Ability to carry out training
