Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Network and learn about multiple functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&I and Sales, etc) - Participate in formal and informal training opportunities. Partnering with team members in your department
  • Follow up and solicit feedback from employees on a regular basis with a "customer service" orientation and ability to escalate issues when appropriate
  • Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns
  • Checking in and organizing current and future season samples. This also includes end of season clean up
  • Able to prioritize and manage tasks required by supervisors and assigned to you.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and multi-task personality
  • Demonstrated interest in fashion, highly organized, self-directed, and curious.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

Desired Background:

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate, preferences are generally given to rising Juniors or Seniors

Experience:

  • Demonstrated academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a proactive mindset and strong work ethic

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills; meticulous and organized with excellent follow-up skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
  • Must be a team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and basic knowledge of Adobe programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organized with excellent follow up skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to work well within a small team environment
  • Must be flexible, positive, engaged, responsible, creative and willing to continually learn with the potential and desire to assume increased responsibility.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $18.00 hourly; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
