Position Responsibilities

• Preparation of SMSF Financial Statements
• Completion of SMSF Annual Returns
• Preparation of Tax Reconciliations
• Reconciliations of investment balances and investment returns
• Calculation of pension liabilities
• BAS & IAS Statements as required
• Preparation of electronic workpapers
• Preparation of audit package and liaising with external auditors
• Preparation of Trustee documentation
• Ensuring work completion satisfying budget and time constraints
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC
• Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated
• Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required
• Other tasks as required

About you

• 2+ years’ experience in a chartered accounting practice specialising in SMSF
• General compliance experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Degree qualified, CA completed or near completion
• Proficient with Class Super, MYOB, Xero, HowNow, Excel and Word
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and client‑focused
