The Opportunity

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with Partners, play a key role in delivering outcomes, and continue developing your expertise across a diverse range of accounting, tax and advisory matters.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Offer support and training to junior team members

About You

• Minium of 2-3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
• Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Previous experience working remotely highly advantageous
• Solid technical accounting knowledge, or a genuine eagerness to build it
• Experience with APS accounting software (highly regarded)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, motivated and genuinely keen to learn, grow and develop professionally
