Role: Intermediate Technical Writer

Position Type: Contract Role

Location: Gatineau, Quebec/Remote

Contract: 3 Years (Possible extension)

Work Location

• Initially remote (temporary measure)
• Then on-site in Gatineau required for controlled goods access

Security

• Active SECRET clearance required
• Handle bilingual technical content (English ↔ French)

Must Have:

Core Experience (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Candidate MUST have BOTH:

• 24+ months A&E technical writing experience
• Writing/updating ammunition or explosives documentation
• 24+ months bilingual documentation experience
• Reviewing/modifying/translating technical docs (EN ↔ FR)
• Create and update Ammunition & Explosives (A&E) technical documentation
• Work with Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTOs)
• Handle bilingual technical content (English ↔ French)
• Take raw OEM data and turn it into structured military documentation
