Job Description

Job purpose:

Intermediate PowerBI/SQL Developers, Data Modelling, Data and Data Lineage, Kimball Knowledge. As a Software Development Engineer you'll be responsible for creating software solutions for the company. Responsible for one or more aspects of the development process including design and coding. The role will involve learning new technologies as well as developing and upskilling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma Information Technology, Computer Science or related eld required
  • 5 years of experience in PowerBI or SQL server
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Experience with a variety of BI tools, such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Must have at least one year of SQL or BI background in a production environment.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI Tabular, DataFlo, SQL and BI tools
  • Working knowledge of models in PowerBI
  • Experience with data modelling and Kimabal
  • Familiarity with document management systems and storage technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse architecture and design is preferred
  • Create elegant PowerBI dashboards with the ability to present data in an easy-to-read format
  • Understand Data and Data Lineage
