What you will do:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Kotlin.
  • Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and development standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
  • Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence.

We are looking for people with:

  • Intermediate English skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code,SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, monitoring, and metrics.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
