We are looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions Group supporting the Construction & Equipment Division. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than document requirements: you will work with business and technology leaders, shape priorities, lead important initiatives, and contribute to the digital evolution of diverse operating businesses.

You do not need to be the most technical person in the room. You do need curiosity, business judgement, and the leadership skills to bring people together around a shared outcome.

Become a trusted business partner

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders, operational teams, technology teams, and external partners.
• Develop a strong understanding of business strategies, operating models, processes, challenges, and opportunities.
• Help business partners make informed decisions by presenting clear options, value, cost, risk, and trade-offs.

Shape solutions that create measurable value

• Discover and analyse business needs, including the underlying issues behind initial requests.
• Translate objectives into capabilities, requirements, user stories, process designs, and success measures.
• Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve controls, reduce risk, improve data quality, and increase productivity.
• Work with diverse JDI IT and business teams to deliver capabilities that help our businesses improve, grow, compete, and win.

Lead change and delivery

• Lead or contribute to business and technology initiatives from discovery through implementation and value realisation.
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Coordinate requirements, validation, testing, readiness, communications, training, and adoption activities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, decisions, and barriers early, and help move them to resolution.

Grow your leadership impact

• Demonstrate ownership for business outcomes, not only assigned activities.
• Lead or influence cross-functional teams and workstreams.
• Build the strategic, commercial, relationship, and leadership capabilities required to take on broader responsibility over time.
• A university degree or college diploma in business, engineering, technology, operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in business operations, project delivery, business analysis, process improvement, technology enablement, consulting, or a related environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-support skills.
• Clear communication, with the ability to adapt messages for operational, technical, and leadership audiences.
• Experience contributing to or leading cross-functional projects and change initiatives.
• The ambition, self-awareness, and motivation to keep growing as a business and people leader.

Prefer to Have:

• Experience in construction, civil operations, manufacturing, building products, heavy equipment, engineering, field services, or another asset-intensive industry.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, project management, asset management, data and analytics, or field service solutions.
• Experience with process modelling, change management, Agile delivery, project management, product ownership, or presenting recommendations to leadership.
